WOULD YOU BE SURPRISED IF I SAID MY LOVE FOR FLOWERS CAME TO ME THROUGH THEATRE?

For years, I taught middle school theatre and believed deeply in the power of storytelling. But teaching wasn’t ultimately where I was meant to be. What followed was a winding path: an office job that left me feeling disconnected, a humbling start in a flower shop sweeping floors and washing buckets, and time spent on a flower farm learning the rhythms and possibilities of the blooms themselves. Eventually, that journey led me into event florals.

That’s when everything clicked.

Because an event is theatre. The florals aren’t simply decorations, they’re the set. They establish the atmosphere, tell a story, and shape how people feel the moment they walk into a space. Creating those moments has always been what drives me. I just finally found the medium that felt like home.
